Spicy Pulled Pork – Delish!
Ingredients

4-6 pounds boneless pork shoulder or butt

1-2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon red pepper

1 teaspoon paprika
-
1 teaspoon black pepper

1 medium onion chopped

1-2 tablespoons hickory liquid smoke

2 cups water
Directions
Use a 5-6 quart slow cooker.
Put meat in slow cooker. Mix spices and rub into meat.
Top with chopped onion, and liquid smoke. Pour in water.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours, or until meat shreds easily with forks.
Season to taste – Spices may get diluted during the long cooking time. Taste and add additional seasonings as needed.
Serve on toasted buns, brown rice, or whole grain pasta.
