Great flavor! A nice mix of beef and turkey and plenty of vegetables. Black beans and no kidney beans in this recipe. Delish!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 large bell pepper/green diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1½ pounds ground beef and Jennio-O Turkey
- ¼ cup chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 (15-ounce) can black beans
-Put oil in the skillet and brown meat along with onion, celery, garlic, pepper and spices. Add the meat mixture and all other ingredients to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low 3-4 hours.
