Who doesn’t love warm, gooey Spinach Artichoke Dip? Below is a tasty recipe you and your Superbowl party goers will enjoy! Might I suggest doubling (or tripling) this recipe for the Big Game – no one will mind!
This recipe combines three different cheeses, (parmesan, mozzarella and cream cheese), along with fresh spinach and garlic to create a wonderfully delightful dip that is sure to go fast. Feel free to serve with the classic tortilla chip, or mix it up with crackers, a soft bread or even pita chips.
Ingredients:
¼ cup grated parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella
10 oz fresh spinach leaves (you can also use frozen, just thaw them first)
1 minced garlic clove
8 oz cream cheese
14 oz can artichokes
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Tortilla chips, to serve
Preparation:
Rinse the spinach leaves, then remove the stems and finely chop them.
Drain the can of artichokes and finely chop them.
Cut the cream cheese into cubes.
Add all the ingredients except the tortilla chips to your slow cooker.
Cover it and cook for 2 hours on high or until the dip is bubbling hot.
Stir it well and serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
(Serves 8)
